MRS. KATHERINE STAKE BRUMBAUGH, widow of the late Upton S. Brumbaugh, formerly of Hagerstown, died early on Thursday morning at her home in Mt. Washington, Md., aged 81 years. She had been in declining health for some time following a serious illness last spring.
Mrs. Brumbaugh was born and reared in Washington county and was a relative of the late Judge Edward Stake. The family formerly lived in Hagerstown, and Mrs. Brumbaugh lived in Williamsport for some time following the death of her husband.
She in survived by two daughters, Miss Minnie Brumbaugh, Mt. Washington, and Mrs. Maurice Thompson, Hollywood, Md., and a son, Kyle, of Cleveland, Ohio.
Short service at entrance to Rose Hill Cemetery, this city, at 1 o'clock Saturday, following service in Baltimore. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment in Rose Hill
