Alfred was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Windsor Door, and was an avid outdoorsman with most days spent hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Hardin Keene; three brothers, Junior, J.T., and Floyd Keene; and a sister, Eva Dee Gossage.
Alfred is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Judy Keene of Lamar, James Keene of Dover, and Tommy and Patty Keene of Lamar; five grandchildren, Douglas Keene, Brandon Keene, Scotty Keene, Stephanie Keene-Jackson, and Tosha Keene; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews & friends.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 until service time at the church.The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Round Rock Church, with Bro. Chuck Hefley and Bro. Larry Keene officiating. Burial will be in North New Hope Cemetery near Dover,
