Doris Maxine Little, 72, of Vandalia died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 1993 at her home.
Services were held at 11 a.m.Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, with the Rev. Lowell Fogler officiating. Burial was in McInturff Cemetery, Hagarstown. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia. Memorials: Fayette County Cancer Fund or Fayette County Heart Fund.
Mrs. Little was born Jan.4, 1921, in Latham, daughter of Albert William and Nellie Lucy Kingsley Anderson. She was a homemaker and member of Hagarstown Baptist Church. She married Russell Herbert Little on June 30, 1940, in Latham. He died Oct. 15, 1985.
Surviving are her son, Jerry and his wife Karen Little of Hewitt, Texas; daughters, Helen and her husband Bob Smith of Hagarstown and Judy and her husband Charles Kaiser of Vandalia; six grandchildren, Jon, David, Paula,Debbie, Nathan and Telisa; and great-grandchildren, Danielle, Cory, Amanda, Chelsea, Dustin, Michael, Samantha and Austin.
One brother preceded her in death.
