Religious Figure: Founder of Christ for the Nations Institute, Founder of Christ for the Nations. Early leader in the faith healing movement. In the 1940's he published the magazine, "The Voice of Healing." It was later changed to "Christ for the Nations". Lindsay began a ministry of building churches around the world. By 2010 more than 11,000 church building had been constructed. In 1970 he founded Christ for the Nations Institute. More than 28,000 graduates are now working in more than 151 countries around the world. His writings are translated and published around the world. Following his death leadership of the School was assumed by his wife Freda who guided it into a leading school of Christian training. The school is lead by their son Dennis Lindsay today. Lindsay died in the pulpit while listening to another speaker bring the message. At the conclusion of the service he was discovered dead.
