Paul, age 75, died at 1:35 a.m. on March 23, 1975, from a "Cerebrovascular Accident" (stroke) while a patient in Metropolitan General Hospital in San Antonio.
He was buried March 25.
His death certificate indicates that he had served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
