Williams, Johnnie Clifford – age 69 of Clinton, passed away Friday, January 4, 2002 at Windwood Health Care Center.

He was a sign assembler at Plasti-Line Inc. for approximately 37 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by: parents, Dewey D. & Alta Mae Carden Williams; wife, Barbara E. Williams; sister, Edna Floyd.

Survivors: sons, Wayne Williams of Clinton, David John & wife Kimberly Williams of Clinton, Jeffery Williams of Clinton; daughter, Marie Williams of Clinton; sisters, Bonnie West of Clinton, Daisy Sharp of Clinton; brothers Carl Williams of Clinton, Lonnie Williams of Clinton; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm Saturday, January 5, 2002 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following with Rev. Jim Woods officiating. The internment will follow at Farmers Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
