CROSBY - Vivian Gladys James, age 95, of Crosby, died on April 21, 2007, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on Sept. 20, 1911, in Eleva, Wis., to Alvin and Clara (Gunderson) Uhlberg. She married Clifford Charles James on June 20, 1934, in Hibbing. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby and the Cuyuna Range Women's Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Robert) Seliger, of Grand Rapids, and Nancy Schmidt, of Deerwood; a sister, Fern Nesbitt, of Virginia; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford, in 1993; a brother, Armour Gunderson; and a sister, Dawny Carlson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
