ALEXANDRIA - Lawrence A.
Fisher, 60, Rt. 3, Alexandria died
Tuesday evening in Community
Hospital. He had been ill since
1968.
Born June 21, 1912 in
Alexandria to Francis and
Florence Shepard Fisher, he
retired in 1968 from National
Gypsum.
He is survived by his widow,
Marie Switzer whom he married
in 1967; a step son Darrell Fisher
of Arizona;; two step daughters,
Mrs. Estella Craig, and Mrs.
Kathryn Wilson, both of
Anderson; two brothers, Bernard
Fisher of Weirton, W. Va., and
Richard Fisher of Summitville;
four sisters, Mrs. Orville Mounts,
Mrs. Alfred Custer and Mrs.
Robert Wilson, all of Alexandria
and Miss Lorraine Fisher of Fla.;
several grand and great
grandchildren.
Rites are set at 11 a.m. Friday
in the Noffze Funeral Home with
burial in the IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m.
Thursday with the family in
attendance at the mortuary from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
