My Grandfather come over from Canton (Guangdong)China when Mao was still in power. He come on the ship Nanking and had several businesses in San Francisco and Washington DC. He and his wife settled in New York city. He also knew some famous people and was a Laundry man. Later when he got older he developed pancreatic cancer and died. Henry Jung was his paper name his real name was Lee Kung Fook that was the one he was born with. At the funeral we had a chinese food and wore black arm bands. He was illegally here and was in constant fear he would be deported back to China so he kept his family story a secret and took his story to the grave with him.
