Mr. Robert Clinton Shelton Sr., 80, of 2147 Reedale Drive, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest Wednesday, January 20, 1993 at Shephard Spinal Center, Atlanta. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Poteet Funeral Home, Greene Street, with the Rev. Robert Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Shelton, a native of Warren County, had retired as a health care technician from Gracewood State School and Hospital and was a bus driver with Southeastern Stages. He had lived in Augusta for 55 years and was a member of Mann Memorial Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Margurie Morris Shelton; two sons, Robert C. "Bob" Shelton Jr., Augusta, and Michael L. "Mike" Shelton, Conyers; a brother, Otis B. Shelton, Norwood; a sister, Dell Rogers, Thomson; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lamar Shelton, Guy Shivers Jr., Terrell Shelton, Charles Shivers, Chris Shelton and Robbie Shelton.
