Lola Marie Moreland Vowell
Funeral services for Lola Marie Moreland Vowell will be conducted at 10 a.m. today from Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Adaton Methodist Church Cemetery. Minister Bobby Crowell will officiate.
Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vowell died Sunday, April 16, 2000 at Oktibbeha County Hospital. She was 81.
A Calhoun County native, she was a retired bookkeeper for Giant Market and was a retired clerk for Oktibbeha County Justice Court. She was a member of Midway Church of Christ in Maben.
She is survived by her husband, Willis L. (Bill) Vowell of Starkville; daughter, Beth Rogowski of Columbus; sister, Eunice Thompson of Starkville; and two grandchildren.
