Ted Lindsay McFall, 65, Born December 25, 1944, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Ted L. and Mary K. McFall, passed away in Electric City on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Ted graduated from Bellingham High School then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served his country from 1963 to 1967, some of that time in Vietnam. Upon retuning to civilian life, Ted attended Providence College in Rhode Island and then on March 14, 1971, married the love of his life, Sharon McDowell in Las Vegas, Nev. After ten years with California Edison, Ted worked for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation for 26 years, retiring in 2005 as a powerplant operator.

An active member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Grand Coulee, Ted was always willing to lend a hand, spending many hours volunteering at the local food bank, Ted was well known in the community for his many years of work with the Volunteer Fire Dept. He also served as Grant County District 14 Fire Commissioner. Proud of his military service, Ted belonged to the VFW, enjoyed fishing and working in his yard. His greatest devotion was to his wife Sharon: as long time friend, Father Robert Himes succinctly put it, "He took care of his wife!"

Ted is survived by his beloved Sharon; half-brother Peter Pasichnyk; brother-in-law Ron McDowell (Patty); nephew Ken McDowell (Kristi); great-nephew Kurtis McDowell and his cherished four-footed children: ‘Shadow', ‘Tucker', ‘Jake', ‘Riley', ‘Rusty', ‘Sammy' and ‘Barney'.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, March 15, 2010, at St. Henry's Catholic Church, followed by a burial with military honors at Grand Coulee's Spring Canyon Cemetery. His family requests that any donations, be made in Ted's memory to St. Henry's Catholic Church, 590 West Grand Coulee Ave., Grand Coulee, WA 99133. Strate Funeral Home of Grand Coulee, is assisting Ted's family.
