Darlene was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Abare. Darlene is survived by her soulmate, Jeffrey "Wayne" Lamb; her mother, Carol; two daughters, Heather Wright and Barbara Ann Lamb; two sons, Jeffrey Wayne Lamb, Jr. and Adam Lamb; three sisters: Debbie, Annie, and Brenda; two brothers: Dave and Mike; several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, and friends. Darlene was a wonderful, hardworking mother. She raised four beautiful children and loved them dearly. Sadly, Darlene suffered from severe depression. She lost her father while she was still in elementary school. He was killed while working on a skyscraper. Darlene was daddy's little girl and I don't believe she ever truly recovered from that sudden and devasting loss in her life. He was there one day and gone the next, with the only explanation being that he had died from an accident at work. That is hard for an adult to accept but the emotional damage it does to a child is even more profound. I find comfort in knowing they have been reunited in Heaven.
