BEDFORD, July 3 -- Mrs. Anna (Beard) Barefoot, aged 63, of Wyant, Bedford County, died Sunday in Windber Hospital after a long illness of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Barefoot was born in Wyant November 6, 1871, a daughter of Franklin and Lydia (Wolfe) Beard, both deceased. In addition to her husband, Henry Barefoot, the deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Scott Corle of Johnstown, Mrs. Russel Berkheimer of Tiffin, O .; Durbin, Ethel and Ellwood, all at home, and Frank of Rummel. She is survived also by the following brothers: Frank and John of Ohio, William of Altoona and Samuel of Pavia, Bedford County. In addition to the above the deceased is survived by 28 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three step-children and four step-grandchildren. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Wyant, where services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon by Rev. Kauffman, pastor. Interment will be in the Pleasantville Cemetery, in charge of Alton barefoot, Bedford mortician.
