Graveside service for Loyd Edward Williams, 60, of Decatur was today at 2 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Waymon Fike officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Williams died Saturday, March 14, 1998, at his home.
He was born April 22, 1937 in Morgan County to Roy (Williams) and Mary Williams. He was a retired painter and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was the father of the late Keith Williams.
He is survived by one daughter, Karen Williams of Hartselle; His mother, Mary Williams of Decatur; one brother; Gene Williams of Hartselle; two sisters, Carlene Solberg and Royce Whitehead, both of Decatur; and one granddaughter.
