A celebration of life will be held November 29, 2008 in Shasta County for Jerry Dean Larsen . Born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Virgil Peter Larsen and Shirley Harris Larsen he graduated high school in San Jose, Ca. with the class of 1966 and served his tour of duty on the USS Oriskany. His life long career as a building contractor benefited communities in Eugene, Oregon and included 24 years in Shasta County.
A talented athlete and outdoorsman, Jerry skied the steeps, guided drift boats down the Mckenzie and Rogue rivers, and was a patio boat captain like no other. His enthusiasm for motor vehicles lead to 10 years of volunteerism with Kool April Nites.
He will be joining the love of his life, Nancy Ruth Eneix, whom he married in November 20, 1988.
He was a loving husband, father, brother; a delighted uncle and grandfather; and the heart warming friend we all dearly miss. Live, Love, Laugh.
