George H. Meese, 50, of Lincoln, a construction worker, died at 6:40 a.m. yesterday (Jan. 31, 1990) at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Meese was born July 22, 1939, in Tamaroa, a son of John and Mary Davis Meese. He married Darlene Skinner on Aug. 17, 1986, in Lincoln. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, George H. Jr. and Joseph, both of Lincoln; two daughters, Mary Skinner and Tammie Meese, both of Lincoln; three brothers, Frank, Romeo, Mich.; Henry, Tamaroa; and John, Lincoln; three sisters, Mary Ann Burrus, Brookport; Dorothy Cummins, Paducah, Ky.; and Ida Nalborski, Tamaroa; and one grandchild.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
