Ruth Bonnell, 50 year Resident Buckeye Prairie, Died, Maryland
Mrs. Ruth Bonnell of College Park, Maryland, former area resident, died at 6;20 o'clock this morning in Leland Memorial Hospital of Maryland. She had been a hospital patient for two weeks.
Mrs. Bonnell was born in Christian County on September 16, 1900, the daughter of Burnola M. and Gertrude Clawson Corrington. She was married to T. Wayland Bonnell on January 1, 1923, on Buckeye Prairie. He preceded her in death in 1969. She was a member of the University United Methodist Church of College Park. She resided for 50 years on Buckeye Prairie and was a resident of College Park, Maryland for the past seven years.
Survivors include one son, Dean W. Bonnell of College Park, Maryland; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one brother Merle Corrington of Ramsey. One son, Merle Leon, preceded her in death in 1941.
