Anneliza Ridall was born in Nottinghamshire, England and came to the US with her parents William and Elizabeth Robinson Ridall in 1844 when she was 8 years old. The voyage took 6 weeks. She and Richard Honse were married in Luzerne Co, PA. on 27 Nov 1853, after the death of his first wife from child birth complications. All of Anneliza's children were born in Pennsylvania before they moved to Missouri, except for the youngest. They moved to Missouri c1875. After Richard's death, Anneliza lived out the rest of her long life with her son George and his wife Annie in the home and on the farm at Gaines Ford, on the banks of the Gasconade River, Maries County, Mo., where she and Richard had settled when they first came to Missouri. Anneliza's two sisters also moved from Pennsylvania to Missouri: Sarah Cavenee and Ellen Amanda Johnson.
