JOHN N. 'J. N.' CHAILLE, 75, of Memphis, retired salesman for Standard Parts and a taxidermist, died of cancer Tuesday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. He was a member of Memphis Park Commision Basketball Hall of Fame and a World War II veteran. Mr. Chaille, the husband of Martha D. Chaille for 47 years, also leaves two daughters, Vickey Holloway of Collierville and Janice English of Arlington; two sisters, Lucy Richmond of Evansville, Ind., and Virginia White of Memphis; a brother, Walter W. Chaille of Memphis, eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 7/29/1999)
