Edna Inglis, 83, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, Oakland Park Nursing Home, Thief River Falls.

Edna Morgan was born Jan. 19, 1918 in Big Woods, Minn. to Henry and Hedvig Morgan. She was baptized in the Lutheran Faith and attended school in Oslo.

Edna started working at Chip's Cafe in Hallock when she was 16 years old.

Edna was united in marriage to Andy Inglis in 1941 in Duluth.

She also worked for the Golden Rule Store and the Gambles Store at Hallock. Edna then began working for Dr. Harry Hanson's Dental practice, retiring in 1988, after over 30 years of employment.

Andy died in June of 1980. Edna moved to Thief River Falls in 1990. She lived with her son for two years before moving into Oakland Park Nursing Home in 1994.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Royal Neighbors and the VFW Auxiliary.

Edna is survived by one son, Garry Inglis and his wife Judy, Thief River Falls; three grandchildren: Bryan, Brad and Mandy; one brother, Clayton, Duluth; one sister, Elsie Rue, Argyle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy; her parents; two sisters: Cora Knutson and Inez Morgan; and four brothers: Norman, Harry, Russell and Wallace.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, Grace Lutheran Church, Hallock, with Reverend Robert Kippley officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock.

Pallbearers were Dr. Harry Hanson, Bryan Inglis, Brad Inglis, Mandy Inglis, Keith Anderson and Kenny Anderson.
