JAMES BABCOCK, fifth child of Daniel (James, John, James 1st) and Abigail (THOMPSON) Babcock, was born 2 Jun 1733 in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island. He married Mary SATTERLEE , the daughter of John Satterlee and Experience (LAMPHERE) Satterlee, on 21 Feb 1753 in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island. He died in Westerly on 06 Oct 1781, and is believed to be buried with his wife, Mary, in the James Babcock Burial Ground in Westerly. (His location of burial has not been proven with certainty).
James and Mary (Satterlee) Babcock had the following nine children.
