SKULL CRUSHED
Irma Tuttle Falls From a Heavy Ring Roller and Receives Injuries From Which She Can Not Recover.

Watsonvllle Register.

Irma Tuttle, the eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Tuttle, is the victim of a most distressing accident. The little one was riding on a heavy ring roller which was at work in her father's orchard southwest of town when she fell from her seat, and before the driver could stop his horses the roller, which weighs about 1.800 pounds, passed over the child's head. The horror of the situation can better be imagined than described.
The little one was lifted up tenderly and conveyed to her home. An examination revealed the fact that the child's skull was crushed. The surgeons extracted two pieces of bone, each of which was about an Inch long, and did all in their power to alleviate the pain, but could hold out no hope for the little patient's recovery. Her injuries were of such a serious nature that her death is only a matter of a few hours.
