Mr. Werdelin, 69, dies in Hospital.
Berlin - B. Frederick Werdelin, 69, of 294 Main St., East Berlin, died early this morning at New Britain General Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Portland, he was a resident of East Berlin for 41 years. He retired three years ago after serving 25 years as an instructor in the technical schools of the state. Upon retirement, he was a senior instructor in carpentry at the Horace E. Wilcox Technical School, Meriden.

He was a member of St. Gabriel Episcopal Church and an organizer and charter member of the East Berlin Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Edith (Angdahl) Werdelin of East Berlin; two brothers, Victor H. Werdelin of Portland and H. Walter Werdelin of Rocky Hill; a nephew; and three nieces.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church. Burial will be in West Cemetery, Bristol. There will be no calling hours. Friends who wish may make donations to the St. Gabriel Episcopal Church building fund. The Carlson Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
