"Lee" was only 47 years old when died in an auto accident between Hickory and Hudson. Death certificates were issued by Caldwell County and also by Richard Baker hospital in Hickory. He was a son of Marcus H. and Polly J. Bolick (Bolch). Opinions differ as to what Marcus H. Bolick's middle name was (some say "Harvey," one says "Horace"), however no document has surfaced to resolve the question.
