James Gary Lacey, 52, a native of Hawkinsville, Ga., grew up in Fort Walton Beach Fla., and a resident of Summerdale, died after an extended illness.
He worked for 34 years in the shipbuilding industry and was last employed by Bender Shipbuilding Company in Mobile .
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Lacey.
Survivors include his mother, Jeanette Thompson of Fort Walton Beach; his wife Pamela Lacey of Summerdale; daughter Melissa (Daniel) Hathcock of Summerdale; stepson, Jason (Kim) Albright of Stockton; and granddaughter, Aya Albright of Stockton.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 16 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 17 from the funeral home chapel. Graveside service and interment will be held at 4 p.m. at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
