Died of Tabes Dorsalis.

Fred Howie Brown, Anna Belle Brown, and Cheney Clarence Brown.

Silas was a farmer in Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire, till 1858, when he removed to Lisbon, Grafton, new Hampshire, where he remained till about 1876. He then returned to the old homestead in Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire, where he died. He had served six years as selectman of Bristol, and four years as supervisor of the check-list. In 1884, he was elected county commissioner and served four years. During this time he was resident superintendent of the County Farm at Haverhill, Grafton, New Hampshire.
