27 June 1953: Harry F. Kercher, 67, a retired Bethlehem Steel Company employee, died suddenly at 9 a.m. today at his home in East Reinoehlsville. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical and Reformed Church, and belonged to Lebanon Lodge 221, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie May (Goetz) Kercher, five sons, Clarence, George, Ernest and Charles, all of Lebanon; and Allen, of Hershey; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Ditzler, Jonestown, and Mrs. John Boyer, at home; two brothers, Norman and Earl, both of Lebanon; and a sister, Mrs. Simon Arnold, Reinoehlsville, five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
