Mrs. Ethel Bailey McCurley, 57, of Burson Road, died Sat. in the Anderson Memorial Hosp. after one year of illness. She was born in Hart Co., GA, the daughter of the late B. C. & Gertrude McCurley Bailey. She was a life long resident of Anderson. She was the wife of James L. McCurley & was a retired textile worker at Wellington Mill. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. Surviving are husband; son: Emil Alton McCurley-U.S.Navy stationed in Charleston, SC; brothers: A.N. Bailey, Otto Bailey, both of Hartwell, GA; sisters: Mrs. Walter Hill, Mrs. Golphin Crump, Mrs. Hugh G. Boles of Hartwell, GA; 4grandchildren. Services at 3 p.m. Monday at McDougald's North Chapel. Burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
