PEARL CARROLL HARGROVE-STIRLING was born on 18 February 1870 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana to Benjamin F. Hargrove and Mary Eleanor Tippit.

Pearl was married to William Caldwell Stirling on 15 October 1884 in Hopkins County, Texas, and they had two children (that are known of): Earl Stirling (1885-1961) and Carl Stirling (1887-1979).

Pearl passed away on 28 September 1890 in Sulphur Springs, and was buried at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas.
