Willie Mae Wiethorn, 85, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at her home.
Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment: 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Memorial Park in Crawford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home.
Memorials: Her memory may be honored with a gift to the building fund at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1800 West Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
Willie Mae, daughter of the late Charles and Emma Fehler, was born Nov. 17, 1924, in Clifton. A graduate of Clifton High School, she was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clifton in June 1938.
She married William Paul Wiethorn on Dec. 1, 1946, and had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1947. A longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Fort Worth, she was a member of LWML, taught Sunday school and was active in social service in White Settlement, such as Senior Citizens, after retiring in 1984.
Survivors: Husband of 64 years, William Paul Wiethorn; sons, Donald Dale Wiethorn and Glenn Paul Wiethorn of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Alan, Blake, Kayla and Kendra; brother, Charles Fehler.
