Charleston - Claude M. Drennan, 85 years old, of Charleston died this morning in a Cape Girardeau nursing home after an extended illness.
A retired farmer, Mr. Drennan was born Feb. 7, 1887, at Marion, Ky. He had resided here 60 years and was a member of the Charleston United Methodist Church.
On Dec. 22, 1909, he married the former Miss Winnie Lee Tucker.
Surviving are is wife, a son, Donald H. Drennan; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Allen; four brothers, Will, Ben, Ray and Virgil Drennan; a sister, Mrs. Mable Hilliard; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at McMikle Funeral Home at Charleston. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
