Richard A. Winegar, 83, 531 McClain Avenue, Greenfield, died at 2:30 A.M. Wednesday at Greenfield Municipal Hospital.
Born June 28, 1885, in Highland County, he was the son of Andrew J. and Isabelle A. Barton Winegar.
His first wife, Ruth Shivers Winegar, died in 1919.
He was a member of Fall Creek Friends Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mamie Dodds Winegar; three daughters, Mrs. Jacob Haberle, Bowersville, Mrs. Henry Pausch, Leesburg; and Donald Williamson, Washington C.H. Rt. 2; two sons, Roy A. Winegar, Hillsboro Rt. 1, and Robert R. Winegar, Highland; a step-daughter, Mrs. Russell Lang, Canton; a sister, Mrs. Charles Sieg, Memphis, O.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. at the Murray Funeral Home in Greenfield, with Rev. Howard Yates officiating.
Burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 P.M. Friday.
