Mrs. Alice H. Darby, 79, formerly of Bethesda, died Thursday, Nov. 28, at the Homewood Retirement Center, Frederick. She was the wife of Albert A. Darby.
Born in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Aiden and Hattie Lawrence Harrison.
Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, Albert A. Darby of Pennsylvania; one daughter, Julia D. Bucher of Colorado; two sisters, Emily Kifaler and Harriette Armentrout, both of Virginia; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
Arrangements were by the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville.
