Hayward E. Bennett, 55, died Wednesday, June 1, in Lorrain,OH after an extended illness.
Mr. Bennett was born March 22, 1922 in Gilmer, WV, the son of Granville and Myrtle Snyder Bennett.
He was a resident of Lorrain, a retired employee of U. S. Steele and a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred L. Daniel Bennett, a son, Charles Bennett of Amherst, OH and a daughter Brenda Johnson of Lorrain, OH.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 3, in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ellis Hamilton officiating.
Burial was in the Daniel Cemetery at Sitka with Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
