Virginia M. Perona, 90, a lifelong resident of Danville, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Colonial Manor in Danville.
She was born Nov. 27, 1919 to John "Otto" and Mae Allison. She married James L. Perona. He preceded her in death July 10, 1988.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Carl) Fiordelisi of Bethel, Connecticutt; two sons, Thomas (Marlene) Perona of Conyers, Ga. and Michael (Juleigh) Perona of Fridley, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Jordan and Christopher Fields, Matthew and Nicholas Perona and Ben, James and Caitlyn Perona and three great-grandchildren, Braden, Aizlyn and Arieana Fields.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
