Services for James Edward Black, 51, of Rt. 1, Pollok, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Allen Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bill Jenkins officiating and burial in Shiloh Cemetery near Alto.

Mr. Black died Tuesday in a Lufkin hospital. He was a grinder and finisher at Texas Foundries. He was a member of A. Frank Smith Methodist Church in Alto and was a veteran of Army Air Force of World War II.
