OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Herman Dutton, 83, of Wabash died Friday, December 21, 2007 at 4:00 am at his home. He was born February 24, 1924 in Kentucky to Liss and Sylvia (Price) Dutton.

He married Beulah Waller in Paintsville, Kentucky on May 1, 1948; she died November 26, 1987. Herman worked 20 years for Wabash Alloys.

He is survived by two sons, John (Dawn) Dutton, and Jimmy Jack Dutton, both of Wabash; daughter, Hattie Keaffaber of LaFontaine; step-son, Homer Penix, Jr. of Wabash; 23 grandchildren, several great- and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, and his brother, Grover Dutton, who died in 1975.

Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at 10:30 am with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. #Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9:30-10:30 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
