Mrs. Maude Grubb passed away at Russell, Kansas 22 October 1963 at the age of 77 years, 5 months, 23 days. She had been in poor health the past two years and was just recuperating from surgery. Mrs Grub was born near Langley in Ellsworth County, 29 April 1886, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Yarnell. She was married to William H. Grubb 29 July 1903, at Langley. He died 26 March 1962. She had lived in the Langley and Marquette area all her life.Survivors include two sons; Harvey Grubb, Kingman and Marland Grubb in the Army in Germany; three daughters; Mrs Dessie Hayes, Ellsworth; Mrs. Doris Williams, Great Bend; and Mrs. Reva Danielson, Andrews Texas. 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Services 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Church in Marquette with Rev. Leslie Heisz officiating. Friends may call at the Olson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 Thursday night.
