Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Griffin Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Ethel Davis, 70, who died Friday night at Memorial Hospital. Rev. W. M. Biggs will officiate, and burial will be at Hamilton Cemetery.
She was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Adelle Gray, Mrs. Joyce Burke, Mrs. Doris Norman, Mrs. Marie Simmons, all of Corsicana, Mary McManus of Retreat, Mrs. Maudie Wilson of Orange, Mrs. Virgie Watkins of Emhouse and Mrs. Bobbie Derden of Lakenheath, England; a son, Thomas Davis of Retreat; two step-sons, Floyd Davis of Phoeniz, Arizona and Robert Davis of Mt. Pleasant; 28 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. Leisel Creacy of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Charlsie Holloway of Corsicana; and a brother, Hughie Hanna of Lufkin.
