Mrs. H. T. Sears, who had lived here since 1928, died in St. Joseph's Hospital Sunday, August 30 at 12:45 a.m.
Mrs. Sears was born Lou Ellen Bray, in Sharp County, Arkansas on September 17, 1881. She and Mr. Sears were married in Arkansas on September 22, 1907. He preceded her in death July 17, 1947.
She has been a member of the Methodist Church since early in life.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Mrs. T. L. Fowler of Ringgold, GA; Mrs. Forrest Plemons of Chattanooga, TN; Elder W. O. Sears of Springer, OK; and I. N. Sears of Amarillo. There are six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Five sisters and three brothers survive: Mrs. R. J. Collie of McLean; Mrs. Bob Ford of Yuma, AZ; Mrs. Frank Griffin of Sidney, AR: Mrs. Bob Conyers of Mt. Pleasant, AR; Mrs. Cleo Ford of Little Rock, AR; Oscar Bray and Homer Bray of Mt. Pleasant, AR; and Alvis Bray of Batesville, AR.
