Funeral services for William Horace Holliman, 59, were held from the Holliman home at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, February 3, conducted by Rev. A.B. Hughes of Vernon, Texas.
Mr. Holliman died Tuesday afternoon at 2:12 o'clock. He was born in Alabama November 3, 1877. for the past 13 years, he had been a resident of this county and during that time acquired many friends here, who mourn his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. W.H. Holliman, Wellington; two sons, Zebulon Holliman and Horace Holliman, both of Wellington; one daughter, Inez Holliman of Lubbock; five brothers, C.H. Holliman of Vernon, J.D. Holliman of Okla Union, J.M. Holliman of Vernon, J.F. Holliman of Rockdale, and Elmer Holliman of Rockdale; one sister, Mrs. Mary Curington of Charlie, Texas.
Pallbearers were Rufus Shanks, Howell Shanks, Walter Koen, Sam Koen, and Hamp Handley. flower Bearers were Dona Mae Hall, Louise Holland, Vida Lee Koen, Loeva Koen Faye Handley and Floretta Koen.
Interment was made in the Wellington Cemetery by Wellington Funeral Home
