Roscoe married Ada COODY on 28 Sep 1935 in Bienville Parish LA. They were married for 42 years and did not have any children. Roscoe was a farmer and owned the Saline Grocery Store. He was in a wheelchair for a number of years due to "rheumatism", which started at age 17.

His nieces and nephews called him Uncle Bo.
