Mildred Runette Beard Kirk Faulkner of 553 Sunset Drive, Danielsville, Ga. died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Faulkner was born in Danielsville, Ga., August 26, 1927, daughter of the late Benjamin and Hearlie Phillips Beard. She was a retired seamstress and of the Holiness Faith. Mrs. Faulkner was twice married, first to the late David Chandler Kirk, second to the late Ralph Faulkner.
Survivors include son, Pete Kirk of Royston, Georgia; daughter, Becky Johson of Danielsville, Georgia; step-son, Tom Faulkner of Phoenix, Arizona; step-daughters, Janice Hubbard of Maysville, Georgia and Mary Williams of Commerce, Georiga; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; special friend, Irvin McElroy.

Mrs. Faulkner was preceded in death by three brothers, Buck, Bill and Harold Beard and four sisters, Avis Baxter, Clara Baxter, Mary Sue Haley and Margaret Kirk.
Funeral services for Mrs. Faulkner will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Peek officiating. Burial will follow in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening. The family is at the home of Larry and Frances Kirk.
