HAYDENVILLE — Flora E. (Pothier) Menard, 92, of 117 Main St., died yesterday at the Northampton Nursing Home. Born in Ware, Nov. 9, 1892, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Galaeneau) Pothier. Mrs. Menard worked as a topper for the former McCallum Silk Hosiery in Northampton for many years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Haydenville. She leaves a son, Wilfred Menard ,of Haydenville, two daughters. Flora Boisvert of Northampton and Eva Peavey of Haydenville: three Brothers, Louis Pothier of Ludlow, Ernest Pothier of Boston and Francis Pothier of Northampton; a sister, Olive Pothier of Northampton; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Leeds. There are no calling hours. The Childs Funeral Home in Haydenville is in charge of arrangements.
