Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Smith Funeral Home, Grinnell, where friends may greet the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. His body was cremated. Private family burial: Hazelwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; five daughters, Judith Calhoun of Ann Arbor, Mich., Cathy Grovenburg of San Jose, Calif., Marilyn Arnold of Des Moines, Terri Pritchard of Solon and Nancy Tinkle of Grinnell; three sisters, Thelma Lust of Newton, Shirley Lillie of Montezuma and Mildred Vulysteke of Grinnell; and a brother, Keith of Oakland Acres.
