Selma Hill Hall, 84, of Pulaski, Va., passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Pulaski Health & Rehab Center, Pulaski. Born May 31, 1925 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lester Hill and Katherine Tipton Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Hall, by a brother, Ralph Denny Hill and sister, Virginia Starr Bane.
Surviving are: daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca H. and Roger D. Jorstad, Annandale, Va.; son, Marvin Eugene "Marty" Hall, Jr., Hillsville, Va.; grandchildren, Bryan L. Jorstad and wife Gretchen, Midlothian, Va., and Kelli L. Jorstad, Annandale, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, William H. and Jewell Hill, Abingdon, Va.; sister Mary Nell Byrd, Hershey, Pa.; and sisters-in-law, Kathleen Ratcliff, Pulaski and Elsie Hall, Williamsburg, Va. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Reverend Pat Collins officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the service hour. Burial will follow at a later date from Oakwood Cemetery.
