Theresa M. "Chub" Bushy, 77, of Crookston, Minnesot, died August 1, 2005 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston. She was born March 6, 1928 the youngest daughter of Henry and Sarah (Welch) Bushy. Chub was baptized in the Catholic faith and received her first communion and was confirmed at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston. She attended the Cathedral Grade school and graduated from the Cathedral High School in 1946.

Chub was employed at St. Vincent's Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in the office and worked for the City of Crookston in the Police Department as a secretary under former Chief Gayle Reagan. She then worked at Great Plains Natural Gas Company and retired in 1991 from Tri County Opportunity Council.

Chub was a life long member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the Ladies Guild and also served as a Senior Companion with Tri Valley Opportunity Council. She enjoyed her family very much and enjoyed several trips to the west coast and loved playing cars. In her earlier years she was a very good bowler and participated in several tournaments throughout the region.

Chub was a good dancer and loved music. She also never missed a Minnesota Wins Game on TV and was very happy to meet some of the teams players last year when they visited Crookston.

She was a woman of faith who always attended Mass and lived her faith by receiving the Sacraments. Chub was the last surviving member of her family of 14 children and enjoyed her many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Stanislaus "Tenny", Bill, Francis, Dick, Harry, Harvey, Steve and Robert and her sisters; Della Mosher, Helen Olson, Margaret "Mae" Ostgard, and Betty Cardinal and several other relatives and friends.

Theresa is survived by her brother in law Norman "Butch" Cardinal of Crookston, Minnesota and her many nieces and nephews and their families and friends.
