Obituary
Frank Roetman was born at Hull, Iowa on February 20, 1893 and passed away at the Pipestone Minn. Hospital, October 29, 1954 from injuries received in a car accident. He had reached the age of 61 years, 8 months, and 9 days.

Most of Mr. Roetman's boyhood days were spent on various farms in Northwestern Iowa except for a short time in the state of Washington. From Washington he went with his parents to settle in Edgerton, Minn., so that from 1912 on he lived in this community.

He was united in married to Anne Ten Cate on Feb. 20, 1919. They farmed northwest of Edgerton for five years and then moved to the village where the departed was engaged in various different business enterprises during the past 30 years.

To this union four children were born, one of whom died in infancy. One brother, Gerrit, also preceeded him in death.

Mr. Roetman confessed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior in the time that he was in the Service during World War I. Rev. Van der Kieft being the pastor. He was a faithful member of the First Reformed Church until the Lord in His providence took him to Himself.

Left to mourn his home-going are his wife, his 3 children: Esther (Mrs. M.J. Joldersma) of Edgerton, Stanley of Waukegan, Illinois and Judy (Mrs. Oscar Pool) of Redlands, Calif., and 7 grandchildren.

Also surviving him are two brothers and five sisters: Mrs. Hessel Baker of Edgerton; Marinus Roetman of Akeley, Minn.; Dick Roetman of Bellflower, Calif.; Mrs. A. J. Vander Wilt, Sioux Center, Iowa; Mrs. Wm. Ver Hey, Hollandale, Minn.; Mrs. John Holwerda, Newton. N.J.; Mrs. Henry Vander Ark, Bellflower. Calif.; besides a large number of relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon. November 2, at the home and from the First Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Wm. G. Wolbrink officiating. Interment was made at Hillside Cemetery, Edgerton.
