Funeral services were held here for John C. Doyal, 93, one of the early settlers of Mason County. He was born in Llano County July 2, 1856, coming to Mason when he was one year old.
Surviving are four children, Christy Doyal, Barnhart, Ralph Doyal, Austin, Mrs. Eva Parrish, Artesia, NM and Henry Doyal, Mason, 41 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren."
